General information:

-The BCHS Alumni Association has donated $500 to the Bridge City High School Traditions Projects. To date, two of the projects have been completed. The Veterans' Plaque and the Valedictorian/Salutatorian Board are proudly displayed in the commons area of the high school. The third project that is near completion is the recognition of all former Mr. and Miss BCHS students. Principal Richard Briggs and his staff have done an excellent job of displaying past accomplishments of BCHS students. It is enlightening to visit the high school and witness his vision become a reality. The halls definitely reflect the spirit of Big Red and the many students that proudly walked through the halls of the high school. Take the opportunity to visit the school and jar many wonderful memories of past activities and people.

-The Alumni Association is donating $200 to Frank Scales for the operation of the BCHS Alumni website. Take time to visit the website and get information about BCHS alumni and events.

-Please share this info with any friends and family members that may have attended Bridge City High School. We do not have everyone's e-mail addresses and many e-mail addresses that we have in our "contacts" have changed.

Above is a picture of Principal Richard Briggs' most recently completed component of his Traditions Projects.

The large plaque salutes the valedictorians and salutatorians of each graduating class.

It is quite impressive and visible to all students and visitors.

If you have the opportunity, drop by BCHS and see the Veterans Plaque and the Val-Sal Plaque.

Mr. Briggs is doing an excellent job paying tribute to past graduates!
