During the schoolyear, they go to Mother's Day Out one day a week, for 5 hours, but other than that they are at home, which doesn't always leave a lot of time for uninterrupted work on a dissertation! Moved back to the Golden Triangle and taught at LC-M HS as the Associate Director of Bands from 2002-2008. While teaching at LC-M I finished my Master of Music Degree and graduated May 2008. In July of 2008 I moved to San Antonio to be the Fine Arts Coordinator/Director of Bands for the La Vernia ISD. It's a growing community with a 3A high school. Bio: Hello to everyone! I just thought I would update our bio since it has been awhile. Everything is great here in East Texas. David is still working with Chevron. He just started with Chevron International as Supervisor of Instrumentation. He will be assisting in the construction of a new refinery they are building in Escarvos. He will be Leaving for Africa in April and will rotate every 28 days. I on the other hand will be holding the house down, escorting kids to school, and baseball/softball practices etc. Did I mention we also have a great dane,dachshund,and chi-rat? Hard to believe she's been here for two years! I'm teaching 1st grade in Magnolia and Brad has opened a business called Versatile Training, for in home training. He also builds houses. I began living in Austin permanently in June 1997. Evan and I were married in January 1997. We had our first son, Jacob in 1998. I attended school at SWT and worked part-time for a state workers' labor union as the Membership Office Assistant. I was promoted to the Membership Office Manager in 2000. I worked in that capacity for 4 years. I attended Austin Institute of Real Estate in 2004. Our family began attending Inquirers classes at Saint Elias Orthodox Church and joined the Eastern Orthodox faith in April 2004. I began working part-time as the secretary at Saint Elias Church with the intention of beginning a career in real estate. (I chose soon after not to do that afterall) We welcomed our newest addition to the family, Carson Makarios in August 2006. We purchased a home in Austin, TX in June 2006 Evan works at UPS and has worked there for the past 11 years. I work at Texas Mutual Insurance Company as the Sr. Administrative Assistant for the Sr. Vice-President of Financial Services. The high fuel prices prompted us to buy more economical cars- so I traded in my Chevy Trailblazer for a Honda Civic. It's cute and fits me well!
