Our oldest graduates this year from Nederland High School and will be attending Lamar University in the fall to prusue a degree in Middle School Education specializing in Math. Our youngest will be turning 16 next month and can't wait to get his license. I practice criminal law, probate, estate family planning, and represent the City of Bridge City as the city attorney. Work has been interesting. I have had some classmates on juries. Which makes it fun. It's almost impossible to describe what I do, so it's nice to have friends see it "live". Unfortunately, it's not as exciting as TV. I discovered that I have a rare blood disorder when I had a stroke in May 04. Fortunately, I had not lasting effects. I haven't looked at this site in 100 years and realized how out-of-date my bio was! I hope all of my former B-dot-C-dot classmates are well and happy! I haven't actually been to that part of the world since 2004 when my mom passed away, but I like to think that Bridge City hasn't changed a bit (silly, I know). I live in Little Elm, TX (northern part of the D/FW metroplex) with three brilliant children, two goofy Pugs, a cat and a half and a hamster. Yes, it is every bit as glamorous as it sounds. ;) My children keep me busy and highly entertained. My daughters figure skate and my son plays hockey, so we spend time (and every cent of my disposable income) at the ice rink 5 days a week. When we're not skating or doing some sort of Boy Scout/Girl Scout activity, we're running around doing something else--we don't sit still much. Besides my primary role as mom, I'm working on my MBA (6 classes left). I took a break from my marketing career a few years back to teach, but, after a couple of years, I returned to my field. I work as a consultant for a marketing firm called LatiMark. My work is demanding, but rewarding and exciting. I work with multi-national, national and Fortune 500 companies in every industry from technology to manufacturing to consumer packaged goods. Keeps me on my toes! (Updated 6/23/2011)

Was promoted to a supervisor for Time Warner Cable and moved to El Paso back in October 2007. I am one of the Regional Repair Supervisor but was put in charge of the Tier 3 (high speed date/digital phone) agents since I used to be a Tier 3 agent in Nederland. I have been with TWC for 7 years this time. I started with them back in 94 but left when I got my degree back in 2000 but they offered me a spot in 2001 and I went back. I have the team that supports the Southwest division here in Texas. No wife or children yet. If you call into the center and get in touch with a tier 3 agent in El Paso see if i am around to chat. I married the August after graduation. I was a housewife for a couple of years, then had my first son, Matt. I stayed at home with him and had my second son Cody, a few years later. A few months after Cody was born I started college. I got my Bachelors Degree in Psychology, then my Masters in Counseling. I have been working at a mental health agency with clients who have either major depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia for almost 10 years now. The past three years I have been working with a specialized caseload of clients who have one of those disorders and who are on felony probation. It is definately not a boring job! Also, about three years ago my husband and I separated. The divorce has been final now since October of 2008. I noticed that most of you are still married, and my advice is if at all possible...stay that way! Times have changed and dating at this age is no fun! My older son, Matthew, is 20 now and has been in the Navy since he graduated in 2007. My youngest son, Cody, is 17 and is living with me. Both are great kids. I couldn't be prouder. Everything!!! I have two teenagers!!!! Stephen and I married in 1988; and shortly there after SJ came into our lives. I graduated from Lamar U. in Dec. 89; and immediately was employed by HISD. So, we moved to Baytown. I spent the next five years teaching in Houston. In 1993, our daughter was born and we moved to Pearland. Then in Aug. 1994, I began teaching for the private school at First Baptist - Pearland. I eventually wound up as the administrator/principal until 2002 when I quit to home school our kiddos -- which I love doing - they are sooooo cool.
