Still in BC, totally rebuilt after Hurricane Ike. I have been married 27 years to Charlie Bloomfield. Our children are both married - Shannon is married to Brad Pruett and they have given us two grandsons, Blake- 12 and Mason - 5. Blake played on the BCLL Allstar team that played in Waco as the East Texas Champions, so we are back that the little league park!! Missy is married to Josh Crumpler, and is living in Sulphur, LA. Occupation: I am the attendance clerk at Magnolia Jr. High and am presently enrolled in college, going back to finish my degree and get certified to teach Math. Bio: Well I thought I would be married for life, so much for that plan. I was married 26 years and found myself divorced and on my own again. I have gone back to college this semester and I am going to try to get my teaching certificate to teach Math. I have only worked in this school district for 22 years, I might as well make it work for me. I have two great children. Cristalle (26) She is my own personal hairdresser and the mother to my granddaughter. They are going to be home for good in the next few weeks. Her husband is in the Marine Corp and has served two tours in Iraq. Due to be in San Marcos in October. I have only seen them a couple of times in the last year, they have been in San Diego, California. Rusty (21) is in college still wondering what he wants to do when he grows up. My life is totally different from what I expected at this point in my life. With the help of prayers and a lot of hard work I will get through this. I would love to hear from any of you out there. Derlie is a Registered Nurse employed at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont for 23 years. Derlie and I just recently "downsized" from our four (4) bedroom home of 13 years to a two (2) bedroom w/ a loft townhome. A bit of an adjustment in size, but I don't miss the yardwork! | Janet Perkins (Class of 1973) E-mail: jperkins54@juno.com I stumbled onto this website, and wow, it was great to read about everyone, what they're doing now, their kids, (and grandkids), etc. I'm living in the Pacific Northwest, and absolutely love it. I go cross country skiing, hiking in the mountains, camping (I can pitch my own tent!), backpacking and exploring the gorgeous Oregon coast, just to name a few. I am a long distance runner and have participated in a few marathons, especially the Susan Komen runs, because I am a breast cancer survivor, and feel so forthunate to still be here. I am writing a book about my experience - don't know if it will be published, but it's been a great healing tool just to put it in black and white.
